Shehu Sani Speaks About What Buhari Govt Should Do Before Paying For Covid-19 Vaccines

Shehu Sani has advised Buhari government on what to do before buying Covid-19 vaccine.
CityNews Nigeria reports that the former Senator who represented Kaduna Central in the National Assembly, Shehu Sani has urged the federal government led by President Muhammadu Buhari to make power supply available before paying for COVID-19 vaccines.
The lawmaker in his message via a Twitter post on Monday, 28th December, noted that without adequate power supply to keep the vaccines at the needed temperature of minus 70 degrees celsius, paying such a humongous amount may end been a waste of money.
Apart from the power supply, he also reminded the government of adequate storage facilities needed for the vaccines.

His Twitter post read: “To the federal government: Before you Credit N400 Billion to #COVID19 vaccine manufacturers, make adequate provisions for storage facilities and emergency power supply that can preserve them at minus 70 degree Celsius. It is not our normal fridge oh, ehen.”
The federal government through the Minister of Health, Osagie Ehanire, on Wednesday, 16th December, noted that Nigerians should expect to receive the COVID-19 vaccine by the end of January 2021.
