Nnamdi Kanu Reveals Those Behind Bank Robbery, Planting Of Biafra Flag
The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, has accused the Department of State Services (DSS) of being behind the robbery of a bank in Anambra State.
It may be recalled that on Thursday reported that gunmen attacked a bank in Anambra State and also hoisted a Biafra flag at the bank premises.
Reacting in a post on his Twitter handle on Friday night, the IPOB leader also accused South-East governors of sponsoring the robbery.
Nnamdi Kanu accused the DSS and governor of trying to tarnish the image of IPOB and the Eastern Security Network (ESN).
“DSS & those behind the formation of EBUBEAGU SECURITY NETWORK are the sponsors of the FIRST BANK ROBBERY yesterday (Thursday) in ANAMBRA STATE that claimed two lives,” Nnamdi Kanu wrote.
“Imagine planting Biafran flag at the crime scene. Very idiotic!”
Recall that over 10 unknown gunmen on Thursday invaded one of the banks in Anambra and hoisted Biafra flags after destroying vehicles on the premises.
It was gathered that the gunmen attacked the bank which is located at Abagana, Njikoka local government area at around 4pm shooting sporadically.
The shooting in front of the old generation bank scared passersby, customers and staff who took to their heels.
According to a witness, the gunmen drove in black Honda Pilot Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV).
The source further said they set fire on a Nissan Pathfinder SUV with registration number UR 640 KJA and smashed glasses of a Honda car with registration number FST 456 AC, all parked in front of the bank.
