The 2022 edition of Aje festival kick started with the first of it’s kind business summit and a musical festival, Friday and yesterday, Saturday respectively.
Aje festival this year has wore a new garment, with arrays of activities.
While Iyalaje Oodua, Princess Toyin Kolade hosted the summit with econmic discourse focused on Leveraging On Technology To Unlock Trade Innovation, Business Growth And Opportunities the Ooni of Ife, His Imperial Majesty, Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi also joined other eminent guest at the music festival held at Ojaja Arena, Ife Grand Resort.
Meanwhile the grand finale of Annual Aje festival will hold on Monday 28th of February, 2022.
This year editon is different due to the Educative Aje heritage summit, different people across all works of life graced the wonderful summit and musical festive including The King Of Ga in Ghana, Tackie Teiko Tsuru ll.
His Imperial Majesty Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi during his welcome address said, “I am glad that one of Oduduwa son is here with us today, King Taki Tenko is from the source and we are happy to receive him, this relationship will strengthen culture between each other”.
Ooni stressed further that this festival, we will pray for the country economy and the God of our ancestors will answer the prayer.
The convener of the program Princess (Dr.) Toyin Kolade Iyalaje Oodua noted that Aje Heritage Summit has come to stay with the need for market men and women to advance in their businesses through creative ideas.
This summit is geared at maximizing our potential with blessings of the Aje deity.
Akorin Oodua and other upcoming, traditional artist trilled the audience at the musical festival and it’s indeed a colorful one.
