Nigerian singer Davido has called for prayer for Nigeria after finally feeling the heat of the current economic situation in the country.
In a post shared on the microblogging platform Twitter, Davido said people would not want to know how much he paid to clear his Lamborghini.
When a Twitter user questioned him about the clearance of his new car, the one bought after a successful concert at O2 Arena, Davido replied that it would be his father’s responsibility.
Davido wrote: You don’t wanna know how much I just paid to clear my lambo… pray for Nigeria… Jesus
Twitter user wrote: And there’s till maybach clearance.
Davido wrote: Omo I am my father’s child for that one
Meanwhile, an Instagram blogger Cutie Julls has alleged that Davido paid almost eighty million Naira to clear his Lamborghini a few days ago.
The blogger wrote: Ewo so it’s true.. Someone at the ports gisted us that Davido paid almost N80mil to clear his Lamborghini on Monday. Can’t remember the exact amount mentioned but it’s more than N70mil sha. Anyway, congratulations to OBO.
