The 2022 Formula 1 season ins’t going to plan for Lewis Hamilton. As a result, the Briton is planning to meet with NFL icon Tom Brady as he seeks solutions.

Having announced his retirement from the NFL last year, the quarterback recently reversed his decision and now Hamilton wants to take some lessons from the veteran, who is set to begin his 23rd year as a professional at 45 years old.

Hamilton finished as low as 13th in the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix at Imola last weekend, leaving him seventh in the season’s standings. The 37-year-old’s best result so far this season has been his third-place finish at Bahrain, which opened the season.

Lewis Hamilton.

George Russell, Hamilton’s teammate at Mercedes, has not finished below fifth at any point this season. The veteran has looked a long way off the pace, though.

Brady is someone that Hamilton feels he can learn from, as the 45-year-old himself had to overcome a prolonged dry patch in his career. Between his third and fourth rings, the quarterback had to wait a decade from 2004 to 2014. Since, he’s averaged a ring every other year.
