Newsonline reports that the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has given important Notice / Advisory to Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) CBT Centers on Candidates with Biometric / Finger Print (Medical / Psychological) Problems and Could Not be Captured at the CBT Center During 2022 UTME Registration and Examination.
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) wishes to inform all JAMB CBT centers and candidates having issues with biometric capture and finger print problems that they are to take note of the following:
1. The following must be followed for any candidate whose finger print could not be captured due to one reason or the other.
(i) The candidate must be directed to the JAMB Office in the State for proper documentation
(ii) At the JAMB Office, the basic details of the candidate is entered into excel sheet using the following template format below:

Reason for non BVM Capture
(iii) Any candidate with problem of biometric capturing and not documented at JAMB Office, shall not be allowed to register for the 2022 UTME
(iv) The Board shall contact and inform the candidate where and when his/her registration and Examination is to take place for the 2022 UTME.

1. Medical
2.Deformed fingers
3. Burnt Fingers
4. Incomplete Fingers
5. Amputated/non.existent hand etc
