JAMB Suspends Biometric Thumbprint & Verification after Exam
JAMB has suspended Biometric Thumbprint & Verification after Exam for 2022 UTME Candidates.
Newsonline reports that the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has suspended the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) Biometric Thumbprint / Verification after Each Candidates Examination.
This is to inform all candidates who will be sitting for the 2022 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) that they are free to go to their respective homes immediately after they are through with their examination without filing out again for another bio-metric verification or thumbprint.
Candidates are no longer have to wait to be signed out through another round of biometric verification after the examination.
According to the Board verification of candidates before the commencement of the examination is still in full effect.
The introduction of the biometric by the board is to get rid of all forms of malpractice in the conduct of the UTME Examination.
Candidates who have issues with their biometrics will not be allowed to sit for the examination on that day, the board will communicate to affected candidates on the next step to follow.
