Breaking: 2023: Saraki In Closed-Door Meeting With Obasanjo(Photo)

A presidential aspirant under the Peoples Democratic Party, Bukola Saraki, on Monday visited former President Olusegun Obasanjo in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital.

The former Senate President met with Obasanjo at the Penthouse residence of the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library (OOPL) in Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta.

He arrived alongside his team including former National Chairman of the PDP, Kawu Baraje, among others.

Saraki’s meeting with the former president might be due to his 2023 presidential ambition.

The Former Governor of Kwara State is hoping to clinch the PDP Presidential ticket ahead of the likes of former vice president, Atiku Abubakar, Former Governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi, Sokoto State Governor, Aminu Tambuwal and other aspirants in the party.

Saraki is expected to meet with PDP delegates in Ogun State after he meets with Obasanjo.
