Breaking: What Aregbesola Said After Tinubu Emerges As APC Presidential Candidate

The Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola, has described the emergence of a former Governor of Lagos State, Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) as well-deserved.

The Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola, has described the emergence of a former Governor of Lagos State, Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) as well-deserved.

This online medium had earlier reported that the former Governor of Lagos State won the APC Presidential primary election with a landslide victory.

In a statement he personally signed on Wednesday, Aregbesola described Tinubu as a dogged fighter for fighting for the establishment of a democratic society.

Aregbesola said Tinubu’s victory at the primaries was a hard-fought one, praying he would lead the ruling party to victory in the 2023 general elections.

The statement read, “I write to felicitate with you on your hard-fought victory at the just concluded Presidential Primary election of our great party, the All Progressives Congress.

“You have demonstrated once again that you are a dogged fighter and in your quest for the establishment of a democratic society, you are willing to go the whole hog.

“It is my prayer that you will ride on the crest of the momentum of this triumph to lead our party to victory in next year’s general elections.
