The African Action Congress (AAC) presidential candidate, Omoyele Sowore has commended a Nigerian lawyer for appearing in court in traditional attire.

This online medium had earlier reported that there was mild drama at the Supreme Court, on Thursday when a Lagos Based Human Rights Lawyer, Malcom Omoirhobo appeared in full traditional regalia of an “Olokun priest”

The lawyer who addressed the press at the court premises said his decision followed the court’s earlier pronouncement that Nigerians are free to express their way of worship in schools and in courts via dressing.

Reacting, Sowore, the publisher of Sahara Reporters, commended the lawyer, saying there was a need for lawyers to dress according to the Nigerian culture.
