BREAKING: Nollywood’s Tonto Dikeh emerges ADC deputy governorship candidate
Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh, has emerged as the deputy governorship candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in the forthcoming 2023 general election in Rivers State.
Tonto Dikeh made this known in a post on her Instagram page.
She thanked the governorship candidate of the ADC, Tonte Ibraye, for picking her and added that she will invest massively in social protection, create a social value system for young people, and increase women’s inclusion in government, among others.
She wrote, ”I thank Mr. Tonte Ibraye(@tonteibraye), the Governorship Candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) Rivers State for nominating me as his running mate.
”We are looking forward to investing massively in social protection, creating a social value system for young people, increasing women’s inclusion in our governance system, supporting small businesses and strengthening our traditional institutions to be active players in the drive to bring sustainable development to the good people of Rivers State.
