2023: Bola Tinubu’s Alleged School Mate Speaks Out Over His School Certificate
Femi Aribisala, the alleged schoolmate of All Progressives Congress Presidential candidate Bola Tinubu has declared the certificate affidavit of the former Lagos Governor is false.
The former governor of Lagos State stated this in an affidavit submitted to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) as part of his eligibility filings for the 2023 presidential elections.
According to Peoples Gazette, documents released on Friday show that Tinubu left the columns for his primary and secondary education unmarked.
Tinubu, however, noted that he obtained a degree in business and administration in 1979 at the Chicago State University.
However, Femi a schoolmate of the former Governor in a post shared on the microblogging platform Twitter, said he was in Government College Ibadan and the APC Presidential candidate was not there.
He added that Tinubu telling the Independent National Electoral Commission that he did not attend primary or secondary school means he has committed perjury.
He wrote: I wrote in 2014 that Tinubu’s affidavit that he attended Government College Ibadan (GCI) between 1965 and 1968 is false. I was in GCI from 1962-1968, and Tinubu was not there. Tinubu now tells INEC he did not go to primary or secondary school. This means he committed perjury.
