The priest in charge of St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Ikabigbo community, Etsako West Local Government of Edo State, Rev. Fr. Christopher Odia, who was abducted in the early hours of today June 26, has been found dead.
Odia was preparing for Mass this morning when the gunmen stormed his residence and whisked him away to an unknown destination.
A statement released by the Catholic diocese of Auchi this evening says the body of the abducted priest has been found.
