A chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State, Joe Igbokwe, has aimed a veiled dig at the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Lagos State Governorship Candidate for the 2023 poll, Olajide Abdulazeez Adediran, popularly called Jandor, describing him as a “small boy”.
CityNews Nigeria reports that Adediran, 44, is a former member of the APC, who decamped to the PDP in January, to pursue his ambition of becoming the next governor of Lagos State.
But commenting on Adediran’s gubernatorial bid, Igbokwe subtly played down the media entrepreneur’s challenge.
“I have been laughing and scratching my head until tears started coming out of my eyes anytime I listen to one small boy who says he wants to rule Lagos. This Lagos I know very well? We play too much.” Igbokwe wrote on his known Facebook page.
Meanwhile, Jandor has received a group of decampees from the APC across the 20 local council areas of the state.
The group, Best Alternative Network, said it left the APC, despite being the ruling party because they believed in the promise of a better tomorrow by Jandor.
