2023: Tinubu meets Northern state assembly speakers as youths plan walk in Lagos
The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on Saturday, met with Northern States Assembly Speakers, Director General of campaign council and others.
The outcome of the meeting was yet to be revealed as of the time of filing this report.
Meanwhile, youths in the Ikeja Federal Constituency in Lagos State will on August 27, 2022, stage a 100,000 man walk for the presidential candidate.
This was disclosed on Thursday by the lawmaker representing the constituency, Honourable James Faleke, who added that the planned walk would also support him and the re-election bid of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
“Youths in Ikeja Federal Constituency are planning a 100,000 man walk to mobilise support for our leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Sanwo-Olu and I,” he tweeted.
The walk will begin at 7am from the take off point of Ikeja Under Bridge on Awolowo Road.
Participants who are expected to dress sporty will then proceed through Allen Avenue, Ojota Link Bridge, Kudirat Abiola Way, Awolowo Way, Lateef Jakande up to Omole Roundabout.
