Jubilation as Ibidunni Ighodalo returns to her family days after her posthumous birthday (photos)
Exactly seven days after Pastor Ibidun Ighodalo’s 42nd posthumous birthday, her brother, Diran, has now welcomed a set of twins (both girls), and they have been christened, Ibidun and Ibidunni.
Announcing the good news and return of Ibidun, her brother, Dare Ajayi via Instagram wrote “about a month ago my brother and his wife welcomed a set of twins (girls). Exactly 7 days away from @ibidunni_ighodalo ‘s birthday.
This can only be God’s doing. Our hearts are full of joy and gladness. Surely his word which says “ weeping may endure for a night but joy cometh in the morning” psalm 30:5 is indeed true. This is a double gift for our troubled hearts! Welcome Ibidun & Ibidunni. May your stars shine even brighter than your predecessors. Amen. From Uncle Darizo”
The announcement has since sent fans and loved ones of the late Ibidunni Ighodalo into a jubilatory mood.
Kemi Filani recalls that the event management expert and philanthropist, Ibidunni Ituah Ighodalo died on the 14th of June, 2020 at age 39.
The executive officer of Elizabeth R died of cardiac arrest in a hotel room in Port Harcourt, where she went for an official assignment.
Her remains were flown to Lagos where she was laid to rest.
Ituah Ighodalo was buried on the 20th of June 2020 amidst tears.
Marking her 42nd posthumous birthday, Pastor Ituah Ighodalo and his two children paid a visit to his wife’s graveside.
The clergyman took to his Instagram story to share photos from the sober day.
June 14, 2022, marked the two years anniversary of the deceased.
In honour of her, her husband and family held a memorial service.
The mother of late Ibidunni Ighodalo, Ibidunni Ighodalo’s beautiful kids, his brother Asue and his wife, Ifeyinwa Ighodalo were present at the memorial.
