Breaking:Peter Obi Reacts As Supporters Defy Rain To Stage 2-Million Man March In P/Harcourt (Video)

The early morning rain in Port Harcourt, Rivers State on Saturday couldn’t stop supporters of the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Peter Obi from staging their planned 2-million man march for him.

CityNews Nigeria reports the supporters, mostly youths defied the rain and marched in their numbers from the popular Oil Mill Market to the Isaac Boro Park in Port Harcourt.

The march is part of the support for the Obi/Datti 2023 presidential ticket.

Similar marches are understood to be going on in Auchi (Edo State), Makurdi (Benue State) and Afikpo (Ebonyi State).

Reacting, Obi who is currently outside the country appreciated the supporters, adding that he is watching the developments and the labour will not be in vain.

He wrote: “We are watching as Port Harcourt, Auchi, Makurdi and Afikpo move OBIdiently today, under the sun and in the rain.

“Constitutional rights to peaceful assembly are protected and must be respected by all.
