Obasanjo while speaking during his visit to the former Head of State, Abdulsalam Abubakar said he does not have a preferred candidate.
The elder statesman, however, stated that he only has a national agenda, not a preferred candidate.
Obasanjo said, “I don’t have a special candidate, I have a national agenda.”
The former President further stated that he was in Minna to visit Abubakar who had been indisposed.
Obasanjo said, “I came to see my brother who has been a little indisposed. I had plans to visit him when he was still in London, but the day I arrived in London was the day he returned home.
“So that is why I decided to come and see him at home. He is very special so I had to come.
“If there is anyone who is indisposed, I will visit and I am still strong.”
The former President arrived at Abubakar’s residence at 12:30 and left at1:13 pm.
There had been speculations that Obasanjo is supporting the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi.
