FACT-CHECK: Did APC Name PDP member, Nnamani in its presidential council?

A Peoples Democratic Party PDP chieftain and former governor of Enugu State, Chimaroke Nnamani, has been named a member of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Presidential Campaign Council.

The Senator representing Enugu East Senatorial District is Number 350 on the 422-member campaign council.

Nnamani who is listed as a member of the local government directorate described the APC presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, as a strong man.

He, however, stated that during the presidential election in 2023, he would vote for his party’s candidate, Atiku Abubakar.

No reason has been given by both the APC and the PDP for the naming of Nnamani in the APC PCC
