2023: Ooni Of Ife hosts Peter Obi as INEC lifts ban on campaign tomorrow (video)
The presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi and his running mate, Datti Baba Ahmed are currently visiting the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi.
The former Anambra State governor was received with cheers as he entered the palace with the Ooni.
“Okwute! Obi!” youths in the Palace screamed as Obi made his entrance with the Ooni of Ife.
The visit is coming almost 24 hours to the official kick off of political campaigns.o
Campaigns in public by political parties would officially commence 28th September, 2022 as provided by Sec. 94(1) of the Electoral Act 2022.
