The statement reads thus; “Anichka Penev, 35 was kidnapped just outside Nioro Plastics in Blackheath/Kuils River, Cape Town around 10 am on 29 September 2022.
CCTV footage shows Anichka being forced out of her Audi after being sandwiched between two getaway vehicles.
“SAPS are investigating the circumstances around the incident and have opened cases of kidnapping and attempted murder. Any information, please contact 078 889 7269 or 08600 10111,” the statement added.

Abramjee tweeted: “Another kidnapping in Cape Town: Ipswich Street Blackheath, in front of Nioro Plastics, Cape Town. Anichka Penev (35) a Ukrainian national, driving a Audi R8, was boxed in by two vehicles. Two shots were fired and she was taken. It is believed a ransom is being demanded.”
