After press reports have abounded about his marital conflicts with his wife, Brazilian top model Gisele Bündchen, which are very close to generating a divorce, the seven-time Super Bowl winner accepted that he has needed therapy in order to deal with the weight of his personal problems.Tom Brady/AP

Tom Brady’s revealing words

“So [it’s] something that I’ve always continued to try to work through, and it’s obviously a challenge for me and different forms of whether it’s physical therapy or mental therapy, all those things I’ve definitely done over the years,” Brady said in his weekly appearance on the “Let’s Go!” Podcast he shares with host Jim Gray and legendary former Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald.

According to Page Six and TMZ, both Brady and the former Victoria Secret Angel have hired lawyers to begin their divorce proceedings, however, neither the former New England Patriots player, nor Gisele, have made an official statement on the matter.

What is the reason for Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen’s marital problems?

One version indicates that the reason for the split between Brady and Bündchen has been the Brazilian top model’s annoyance with TB12’s decision to regret the retirement announcement he made during the past offseason.

At the start of the 2022 NFL season, the Buccaneers have a 3-2 record and Brady’s team visits the Pittsburgh Steelers next Sunday during week 6.
