According to Sani, Obi is a part of the established politicians that got Nigeria to where the country is at the moment.
He argued that Obi and others such as the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Bola Tinubu are all part of the problem and can’t meet the aspirations of the people come 2023.
He made the submission during an interview with Punch where he was asked about the growing popularity of Labour Party’s Peter Obi and if he could be the third force to deliver Nigerians from the old set of politicians.
In response, he said Obi and others like him don’t possess what Nigerians are looking for but are only making noise.
In his words, “I am not in the Labour Party and I will not like to talk about another political party as far as that issue is concerned. All I know is that Nigeria needs a change and the change we are looking for is not from establishment politicians such as Peter Obi, Bola Tinubu and others, who are making so much noise. They played key roles in putting us where we are today. That is not what Nigerians are looking for.”
