War of “lies” by Manchester United to “humiliate” Cristiano Ronaldo and “damage” his release – Piers Morgan
Piers Morgan, a columnist for The Sun newspaper with almost eight million followers on Twitter, denounces a campaign by Manchester United to discredit Cristiano Ronaldo when it comes to leaving the market .
‘SunSport’ assures that “Cristiano has no allies left at the club and that he can never play in a United shirt again” and that “Manchester United could allow CR7 to leave in January” despite, supposedly, , not having to bid for the 37-year-old Portuguese striker.
The alleged lack of interest in signing Cristiano in the winter market is due, according to Piers Morgan, to the fact that “Manchester United’s management is leaking lies to harm Cristiano Ronaldo” .
Piers Morgan defends Cristiano Ronaldo’s commitment to Manchester United by recalling that last summer CR7 rejected a millionaire offer of 130 million euros from Saudi Arabian football .
The columnist launched his darts against Erik ten Hag, Manchester United’s new manager , whom he accuses of “deliberately humiliating” Cristiano.
Ten Hag trying to lecture Cristiano on standards and values when he is deliberately humiliating him… What a joke! One is the best footballer of all time… the other was a shitty player”.
“Ten Hag trying to lecture Cristiano about standards and values when he is deliberately humiliating him… What a joke! One is the best footballer of all time and champion in four countries… the other was a shitty player and, like coach, he has barely won a fight outside the Netherlands,” he charged.
I think the collective disrespect towards Cristiano from his manager and many Manchester United fans after all he has done for their club is disgraceful.
