Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain, AC Milan and Borussia Dortmund have qualified for the Champions League Round round of 16.
This follows the completion of Tuesday’s round of fixtures.
Chelsea held on for a 2-1 win over FC Salzburg on Tuesday evening in Austria. This confirmed their place in the Champions League knockout rounds as winners of Group E.
Mateo Kovacic opened the scoring for the visitors midway through the first half. But Junior Adamu levelled the score just three minutes after the interval.
Kai Havertz delivered a stunning eventual winner in the 64th minute. This sent the Blues home with all three points, on top of Group E.
Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe each scored twice and Neymar added another as Paris Saint-Germain routed Maccabi Haifa 7-2 at the Parc des Princes.
The star attacking trio each found the net to put the hosts up 3-0 inside just 35 minutes. Messi then produced another sumptuous finish just before the interval to complete an eye-catching first-half attacking display.
There was little letup in the second half. Mbappe curled in for his second before an own goal from Maccabi’s Sean Goldberg and a seventh goal, by substitute Carlos Soler.
Manchester City top Champions League Group G despite a 0-0 draw with Borussia Dortmund at the Signal Iduna Park.
City, who had already confirmed a spot in the last 16 before the match, conceded some good chances but held firm to keep Dortmund at bay before Riyad Mahrez missed from the penalty spot shortly after half-time. City, on 11 points, have won the group with Dortmund in second, on eight points joining City in the knockout stages.
