2Baba remembers late dad eight years after his demise

Legendary singer, Innocent Idibia better known as 2Baba has made a heartfelt promise as he remembers his late father, Chief Michael Agbo Idibia, eight years after his demise.

CityNews reported that 2Baba’s father passed away on 23rd August 2018 after a long battle with cancer at the age of sisty-eight. He was laid to rest on 8th November 2014 in his home towm ,in Amufu Ejeba community in Enumoga Ehaje, Okpokwu LGA of Benue State.

Sharing a picture of his late father on his Instagram page, 2Baba penned an emotional word to remember his father’s demise after eight years. 2Baba said his late father is the most gentle and kindest human he has ever known. However, he did not fail to reveal that he specially misses him and will continue to mourn him till he (2Baba) joins him in the world beyond.

2Baba wrote: Miss u madly my dear father. The most gentle and kindest human I’ve ever known. I’ll mourn u till I join u pops”.

2baba breaks down as he storms late Sound Sultan’s grave

CityNews Nigeria recalls that 2Baba paid a visit to the grave of his late friend and singer, Olanrewaju Abdul-Ganiu Fasasi Sound Sultan.

Sound Sultan, the ‘Naija Ninja’ crooner left many heartbroken when he passed away on11th July 2021. He died after battling ‘Angioimmunoblastic T-cell Lymphoma,’ ‘Cancer of the throat.’ Before his death, Sound Sultan underwent chemotherapy in a hospital in the United States of America.

2Baba shared a video of him visiting his grave in America. Taking to his Instagram page, 2baba stated that he went to pay respect to his brother alongside Emma Ugolee, Frankie J and others.

He wrote, “Went to pay my respect to my brother Sound Sultan. With my brothers @emmaugolee @amfrankiej @blackahrank July 11 WORLD SULTAN DAY. Blessed. We miss u dear friend. Olanrewaju Fasasi bless up”.
