2023 Presidency: Shehu Sani Reacts As Bola Tinubu Calls IPOB’s Bluff…
A former lawmaker, Shehu Sani has praised the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu for scheduling his campaigns in Imo and Anambra State on Mondays.
The senator insisted that it takes a daring candidate to fix his campaign rallies on a day when the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, observe a sit-at-home in the region.
Sani expressed confidence in the tenacity of Tinubu and the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, adding that the nation needs leaders who can stand up to terrorists, bandits, and separatists.
The PDP stalwart noted that Atiku and the party supporters stood their grounds in Kaduna during a campaign rally when they were attacked by thugs.
Sani called on other presidential candidates to follow the footsteps of Tinubu and Atiku.
In a Facebook post, Sani wrote, “We defied violence and armed hoodlums and held Atiku’s rally in Kaduna. They attacked, injured and maimed but failed to stop us.
“Jagaban is defying IPOB’s Mondays sit-at-home with a scheduled rally in Anambra and Imo. Other presidential candidates must follow suit. We need leaders with the courage to defy forces of violence.
“Whoever wants to be a commander in chief must prove he can be a commander in chief. We need bold leaders who can stand up to terrorists, bandits and separatists.”
