Breaking: #Davido’s son: Police break silence on arresting Eniola Badmus
The Lagos Police force has reacted to the viral claims of arresting actress Eniola Badmus over the death of Ifeanyi Adeleke, son of pop star Davido.
This is coming after rumors about Eniola Badmus’s arrest started speculating in the early hours of Saturday.
Eniola Badmus was one of the first celebrities that announced the death of Ifeanyi in a cryptic message. CN recalls that Davido’s son, Ifeanyi died by drowning on Monday, October 31, eleven days after celebrating his third birthday.
Eniola Badmus gets into trouble for monetizing Ifeanyi’s death
Moments after her post, Nigerians stormed the comment section, accusing her of using the boy’s death as a means of gaining more popularity. Others opined that it was insensitive to announce the death of a child before confirmation from the parents.
With things spiraling out of control, Eniola was forced to delete the post on Instagram and Facebook.
The 38-year-old also came under fire on Thursday after posting now-deleted videos about the death of Ifeanyi on her YouTube channel.
Three-year-old Ifeanyi was reported to have drowned in a swimming pool on Monday night.
It was gathered the incident happened in Davido’s home in Banana Island, Lagos
Ifeanyi Adeleke was reported to have been rushed to a hospital in Lekki where he was confirmed dead.
Davido and his fiancée, Chioma, have continued to receive condolence messages with prayers from fans, celebrities, and well-meaning individuals in society.
