Cristiano Ronaldo’s Likely Next Club Revealed After Explosive Interview
Another Premier League club has emerged as a likely destination for Cristiano Ronaldo after his massive outburst against Manchester United and its coach Erik Ten Hag.
According to media reports, Chelsea is one of the favourites to pick up the Portuguese star should he end his contract with United after publicly calling out the club and its manager.
CN earlier reported that Ronaldo said that the management of the club has betrayed him and that United is pushing for him to leave through certain executives.
According to an interview with Piers Morgan, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner has revealed that the club has “betrayed” and made him a “black sheep” to be blamed for everything that goes wrong.
Also, Ronaldo revealed that he has no respect for his manager, Erik Ten Hag, due to certain reasons.
The recent submissions have sparked considerations that Ronaldo might be closer to the exit door at United than ever before.
Amidst the speculations, Chelsea is reported to be waiting in the wings and ready to move in should the opportunity present itself.
The Blues are said to have a standing interest in the player but couldn’t make it materialize because former manager, Thomas Tuchel didn’t agree with the move.
But with Graham Potter now in charge and the broken down relationship at United, it is believed that the interest will be re-ignited.
Specifically, Chelsea is now said to be the favourite club to sign the 37-year-old Ronaldo next year his current contract with Man United will expire at the end of the season.
