2023: Okowa Has Betrayed Us Like Judas Iscariot – Omo-Agege Tells Tinubu
The Deputy Senate President, Ovie Omo-Agege has said that the vice-presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Ifeanyi Okowa is the ‘Judas Iscariot’ of Delta State.
Omo-Agege stated this during a speech at the flag off of the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential/governorship campaign held at the Warri Township Stadium.
He told the APC flag bearer, Bola Ahmed Tinubu that the Deltans are ready to welcome him.
“We don’t tolerate traitors. We don’t like treachery and we don’t like traitors,” he said.
He noted that only Judas Iscariot was the traitor among the twelve disciples Jesus Christ had.
Omo-Agege insisted that Okowa was engaged in an “ill-fated” adventure to become Vice President.
However, the lawmaker stated that unlike , Judas who betrayed Jesus Christ his master, Okowa has refused to commit political suicide.
He urged the Delta State Governor to step down from the ticket of the PDP adding that the state is supposed to be one of the richest in the Niger Delta.
Omo-Agege maintained that with its natural endowment especially with the federation account, 13% derivation and others received, there’s nothing to show in commensurate order.
He pointed out that Warri has become the headquarters of Keke capital in Delta State.
Lamenting that the people are suffering in the midst of plenty and they want the narrative to change.
