Wike And The Gang Entertaining Us Like Slaves Do To Their Colonial Masters – Fadahunsi
The lawmaker representing Osun East Senatorial District, Senator Francis Fadahunsi, has said the activities of the G5 governors led by the Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike has no effect on the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)
Fahahusi weighed in on the PDP crisis via a statement in Osogbo on Tuesday by his media aide, Sam-Segun Progress.
Speaking with newsmen, he maintained that the PDP presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar would have no issues in securing the 2023 presidency
According to him, Wike and members of his group have turned themselves into political entertainers to get attention and may end up losing relevance within the PDP fold, unless they retrace their steps.
He said, “We don’t have anything to fear (about the crises in PDP). They are now political entertainers who are entertaining their own subjects as slaves used to entertain colonial masters. When you destroy your house and you want to come my own house, I will not trust you.”
Apart from Wike, other governors who are members of the G5 are Samuel Ortom (Benue), Ifeanyi Ugwanyi (Enugu), Okezie Ikpeazu (Abia) and Seyi Makinde (Oyo).
The G5 governors, who were appointed into the PDP presidential campaign council, withdrew their membership and boycotted its inauguration.
They are demanding the resignation of the party’s national chairman, Iyorchia Ayu as a condition to support Atiku in 2023.
