Award-winning singer, Davido has hit a million likes on Instagram.
The now father of three, who continues to record new achievement, has made history as the first Nigerian celebrity with the most like Instagram picture.
Davido had made a grand return to social media with loved-up photos of him and his wife, Chioma.
Within 7 hours, the picture gathered over 1 million likes. Kemi Filani did a check on his Instagram page and noticed that at the time of reporting, the singer’s picture has gotten 1,329,331 likes and 205,182 comments.
This a big feat for the singer, who remains the most followed African celebrity.
This new achievement is coming hours after KFN reported that Davido became the first African artiste to perform in Qatar.
Davido becomes the first African to perform in World Cup finale
Recall that Davido made history and made Nigerians proud as he, alongside Trinidad Cardona and AISHA, sang the 2022 World Cup soundtrack titled ‘Hayya Hayya’ (Better Together).
Davido said he was honoured with the feat, adding it is a win for Africa.
His son’s death almost took away the golden opportunity, but the singer didn’t allow that deter him from making his country and Africa proud.
Confirming his performance at the World Cup was Chinese businessman, Stephen Hung. He revealed that Davido was performing at the World Cup closing the ceremony.
Expressing excitement, Stephen Hung stated that he can’t wait to see him.
“So happy my bro @davido confirmed he will be performing at the World Cup Qatar closing ceremony. Can’t wait to see him there”.
