Nollywood: Destiny Etiko Speaks On Cutting Ties With Adopted Daughter
Nollywood actress, Destiny Etiko, has opened up on cutting ties with her adopted daughter, Chinenye Eucharia.
CityNews Nigeria reports that Destiny and the teenage girl sparked rumours of separation after they unfollowed each other on the photo and video-sharing app, Instagram.
Destiny Etiko opened up on the issue after linking up with another adopted daughter of hers in a video shared on her social media page.
She described the little girl as her gateman’s daughter, stating she is responsible for her upbringing as she expressed surprise at how the baby is growing fast.
The actress also throws shade at her adopted daughter, Chinenye Eucharia whom she described as being disrespectful and ungrateful.
She wrote: “My baby is growing so fast, My Hausa Princess. Won’t stop been nice.At least this one is still very small and I know she won’t be too wild to disrespect me or to be ungrateful”
In another video, Destiny said she had always meant good for Chinyere but she decided to hurt her many times.
According to her, some people had cautioned her over the frivolous gifts she gives to Chuinyere notwithstanding, she is bent on protecting the girl because she loves her.
Destiny added she would not be talking so much about the issue to avoid giving people what to talk about.
