The Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke has Approved the appointment of Prince Adeagbo Morufu Atanda as the new Olórígo of Orígo, in Egbedore Local Government, in Osun.
This was contained in a release signed by Bashir Oladipupo for the Permanent Secretary Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, and made available to newsmen.
Bashir stated that the appointment takes immediate effect with benefits, salaries and other privileges accruing to the new Olorigo of Origo.
He affirmed that the appointment of the new monarch was in accordance with section 20, sub-section (1) of the Chief’s Law (Cap.25) laws of the Osun State, 2002.
