Al Nassr manager Rudi Garcia has confirmed that Cristiano Ronaldo will return to Europe and will not finish his career in Saudi Arabia.
The 37-year-old left Manchester United after his contract was terminated following a series of face-offs with new manager, Erik ten Hag.
He joined Al Nassr in Saudi Arabia to become the highest-paid sportsman, dead or alive.
Ronaldo will be 40 years old when his contract expires at Al Nassr but Garcia still believes the Portugal international will spend some time back in Europe before finally hanging his boots.
“Cristiano Ronaldo is a positive addition, as he helps to disperse defenders,” Garcia told reporters.
“He is one of the best players in the world. He will not finish his career at Al Nassr, he will return to Europe.”
