Bayern Munich have suffered a major injury blow ahead of their UEFA Champions League round of 16 first-leg tie with Paris Saint-Germain on February 14.
Bayern Munich boss, Julian Nagelsmann, confirmed at his pre-match press conference ahead of his side’s Bundesliga tie with Wolfsburg on Sunday that Mane will not feature in the Champions League first-leg tie against PSG.
Recall that Mane suffered an injury ahead of the 2022 FIFA World Cup break last year.
The Senegalese forward missed the World Cup tournament in Qatar as a result of the injury.
“I am expecting him [Mane] back mid or at the end of February, probably not for the first leg against PSG,” Nagelsmann said.
“We are trying to integrate him with the team around February 21.”
