Breaking! PDP Postpones Atiku Presidential Campaign Rally In Rivers

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has announced the postponement of the Atiku/Okowa presidential campaign rally in Rivers State, earlier scheduled for Saturday, February 11, 2023.

In a statement issued on Friday (today), PDP Presidential Campaign Council in the state apologised to party members and supporters for all inconveniences the reschedule might have caused them.

It revealed that the electioneering event is now rescheduled to hold on 14 February 2023 against the former date. The press statement released by the spokesperson for the Campaign Council, Dr Leloonu Nwibubasa, did not disclose if the venue has been changed or not.

Gunmen Attack Atiku’s Campaign DG In Rivers

PDP in its latest press statement did not state why the rally in Rivers State was postponed, the development, however, may not be unconnected with the attempted assassination of the Director-General of the Atiku Abubakar presidential campaign council in Rivers, Abiye Sekibo.
