Whitney Adeniran: Iyabo Ojo blows hot over Chrisland School’s ”audacity to be irresponsible”
Popular Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo has called out Chrisland School over the death of his student, Whitney Adeniran.
CN had reported that Whitney Adeniran, a student of Chrisland International School, Opebi had died during the school’s Inter-house sports.
The school had claimed that the 12-years-old slumped and died.
However, fresh reports on her death, proved otherwise. Instagram blogger, Gistlover revealed that at the stadium where the Interhouse sports was held, Whitney wanted to purchase popcorn and candy from one of the vendors at the event.
The blog claimed that she got electrocuted through one of the machines and she passed out. They had to rush her to the back of the stadium and poured water on her.
According to the blog, when she wasn’t responding, they took her to the health centre but by this time, she already passed away.
The report was given by the kids who were present at the time.
Following the new report, Iyabo Ojo called out the school for their audacity to be irresponsible.
She told them to tell the truth about her death to the parents as the negligence from their school is appalling.
Iyabo questioned if the news making rounds that she died from electrocution is true and why the vendors at their event didn’t come with child proof equipment.
“@chrislandinsta You need to come out & Whitney’s parents the truth about their daughter’s death. The negligence from your school is appalling. There is a WhatsApp audio circulating that she died as a result of electrocution. Can you confirm or deny? Did you not get the vendors at your event to make sure they came with child proof equipment? You knew the child was dead before sending her to a health centre and sent the mother on a wild goose chase to look for her child without accompanying her. The actual audacity to be irresponsible.”
