The G5 group include the Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike; Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi (Enugu), Okezie Ikpeazu (Abia), Samuel Ortom (Benue), and Seyi Makinde (Oyo).
With barely three days into the 2023 general elections, Senator Sani, in a post via his verified Twitter handle on Tuesday, said the G5 governors led by Wike were going about in the same attire for seven months but yet couldn’t agree on a uniform presidential candidate to support.
“The G5 Governors wore uniform attire for Seven Months in London, Madrid and Paris but couldn’t agree on a Uniform candidate,” the Kaduna State politician wrote on the microblogging platform.
Earlier, Sani admonished Nigerians to seek God’s help to choose the best candidate for the Nigerian job in the 2023 election. He noted that though everyone has their preferred candidate, it is best to hear from God who is best to rule the country.
