#NigeriaDecides: Peter Obi Loses In Obasanjo’s Polling Unit
The presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi has been defeated in the polling unit of the former president, Olusegun Obasanjo.
CityNews Nigeria recalls that Obasanjo adopted Obi as his preferred presidential candidate before the presidential election.
The former president who voted at ward 11, unit 22, Olusomi compound, Totoro/Sokori Abeokuta-North lost to the All Progressives Congress.
The APC had 56 votes, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) had seven votes, African Democratic Congress scored eight votes while LP had zero votes.
According to the presiding officer, 91 voters cast their votes for four political parties out of 693 accredited voters.
Void votes recorded were 10.
