#EndSARS: Gov Sanwo-Olu Reveals What He Did For #Lekki Shooting Victims
The Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has claimed to have provided jobs and empowerment for all the victims of the #EndSARS protest in the state.
Speaking during an interview on ARISE TV on Wednesday, the Lagos governor added that he has personally reached out to the victims of the October 20, 2020 incident.
The governor said that it is the reason none of the victims have come out during this campaign period to attack him or say something bad about his government.
Sanwo-Olu stated that he provided employment and empowerment for the victims because it is his responsibility as a father and a leader to do so for them.
He said: “All of the people — and I am saying this for the first time on national TV — that claimed that they were either injured or affected in one form or the other, I, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, have reached out to them, supported, and given them jobs and empowerment and things for them to start right.
“And that is why you do not see anybody come out during this campaign period to say ‘I was an #EndSars victim and I lost something,’ because I have taken it up and I feel that is something for me as a father and a leader to do for them, and clear this air around it.”
