Harvesters Lead Pastor Speaks On Sanwo-Olu’s ‘Uninvited’ Visit To Church

The lead Pastor of Harvesters Church, Bolaji Idowu, has broken silence on the recent visit of the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, to his Church.

CityNews Nigeria earlier reported that Sanwo-Olu assumed the duty of a church usher after service at Harvesters church in the state.

The governor who is seeking re-election for a second term stormed the church on Sunday, March 12, 2023, to worship with the church members.

Speaking on the impromptu visit, Pastor Bolaji said he was unaware of the visit and would be out of place not to welcome Sanwo-Olu, especially as a sitting governor.

According to him, he was preaching when he saw the crowd outside before he was told the governor was in the church.

The clergyman explained that he is aware that many would reject Sanwo-Olu if he had offered to pay them a visit.
