According to him, the results uploaded by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to declare Tinubu as the winner of the February 25 presidential election in Nigeria are insulting to everybody’s intelligence.
Peterside disclosed further that he won’t accept the result of the 2023 presidential election until the court makes a final pronouncement on the suit before it challenging the victory of the APC candidate.
CityNews Nigeria reports the founder of Anap Business Jet Limited made the assertion while featuring on an Arise Television interview.
He said: “If they go through this process and the judges convince us that everything was done correctly and we adopt the numbers, whoever is the winner, we will congratulate the person.
“But for now it is premature; when I can see with my own eyes what INEC has uploaded, it is an insult to everybody’s intelligence; it is premature; people who are rushing to congratulate him have not taken the trouble to even look at the available information or the evidence. INEC is each to its own.”
The ANAP boss also commended the Labour Party candidate, Peter Obi, and his Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) counterpart, Atiku Abubakar for challenging the presidential election outcome in court.
Peterside challenged INEC and its chairman, Prof Mahmood Yakubu to use the opportunity provided by the March 18 governorship and state assembly elections to correct its errors and regain the trust of Nigerians.
