Fani Kayode Questions Buhari’s Gov’t As Nigerians Are ‘Stranded’ In Sudan
Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, has questioned President Muhammadu Buhari-led government over its lackadaisical attitude in evacuating Nigerian citizens in Sudan.
CityNews Nigeria reports that Nigerian students and other citizens have been stranded in the war-racked nation and are calling for help.
Governments of other countries are understood to also be making efforts to evacuate their citizens as the unrest persists in Sudan.
Taking to his Twitter handle to react to the worrisome incidents in Sudan, Fani-Kayode asked when the Nigerian government will act and evacuate its citizens from the war zone.
The former Minister tweeted: “I just watched a horrific video of Sudanese soldiers slaughtering their fellow Africans in the streets of Khartoum. The French, Germans, Turkish, Portuguese, Polish, Irish & others have managed to evacuate their citizens. For God’s sake when are we getting ours out?”.
