Breaking: Abike Jagaban: Esabod Replies Ooni Of Ife Fans,Says ‘It Can Never Happen’

Esabod has vehemently refuted rumours making the rounds about her ‘sucking up to Ooni of Ife 

Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi after allegedly collecting millions as settlement from the latter.

The undisputed global queen of herbs and roots,Chief (Mrs) Esther Aboderin (Esabod) said the rumours making the rounds on social media and in social circles should be disregarded by her teeming fans and well-wishers all over the world as ‘it can never happen’.

Speaking exclusively to the Publisher and Chief Excutive of CityNews Group(Mr Sola Adeyemo),Esabod revealed that the assumptions in some quarters that she’s now padering to (the wishes) of the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II is far from the truth as she remains a fierce critic of the ills in the Nigerian society especially the Yoruba nation.

Speaking further,Esabod says it’s a bit condescending for her to sell her conscience and turn a blind eye on the ills in the society and those leaders of thought who are not worthy ambassadors of the Yoruba cause,culture and ideals.

Using the medium to call on ‘Ewe Nation’ and her Nigerian fans and those in the diaspora,Esabod throws some light on the genesis of the on-going brouhaha between Abike Jagaban and Soji Olowogbogboro which has the ooni of Ife and Iyalaje ‘of the source'(Chief Mrs Toyin Kolade) at the epicentre.

CityNews Nigeria recalls that social media what literally set on fire when Esabod jokingly said on one of her live shows that she might settle down with Ooni of Ife as his number 5 wife. Many of her fans took to their social media handles to ‘propagate’ the news whilst others were left wondering why Esabod suddenly shifted her position and stance about the Ooni of Ife.
