Shehu Sani Makes Cryptic Comment On Tinubu Ministerial Appointment List
A former Kaduna Central lawmaker, Senator Shehu Sani, has taken to social media to make a cryptic comment on the allege ministerial nominees’ list of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
“So Ministerial appointment is the thirty pieces of silver for the Chancellor of the Gee Five?” Sani wrote on his Twitter page on Monday morning.
Though the former lawmaker did not mention any name, ‘Gee Five’ or G-5 is the acronym used during the 2023 general elections to identify the defunct five aggrieved governors on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Members of the group include former Governors; Nyesom Wike (Rivers State), Okezie Ikpeazu (Abia), Ifeanyi Ugwuwanyi (Enugu), Samuel Ortom (Benue) and Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State.
Wike led the political group which campaigned against the presidential candidate of their party, Atiku Abubakar,
Speculations are that Wike worked for Tinubu during the 2023 presidential election and is expected to be named among Tinubu’s ministerial list to be released soon.
Reports, according to Daily Sun, earlier stated that the ministerial list being compiled and undergoing vetting process by the relevant agencies is allegedly dominated by the old Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) members from the SouthWest zone.
