Transfer: Messi’s shirt number at Inter Miami confirmed

New Inter Miami signing, Lionel Messi has been handed his iconic no.10 shirt at the club.

The Major League Soccer (MLS) club confirmed his signing on Saturday.

They posted a clip in which Messi could be seen wearing the club’s pink shirt with the number 10 emblazoned on the back.

The 36-year-old has put pen to paper on a two-and-a-half year deal with Inter Miami.

Messi chose the MLS outfit over a lucrative move to Saudi Arabia. The Argentina captain also rejected a return to Barcelona.

As part of his contract, the seven-time Ballon d’Or winner will reportedly receive a compensation package that includes part of Apple TV’s revenue generated by MLS Season Pass as well as a share of Adidas profits from his arrival in MLS.
