Replying to a fan who suggested to Simi’s husband, Adekunle Gold, to feature him (Brymo) on his upcoming album, ‘Tequila Ever After’, Brymo disclosed that both Adekunle Gold and his wife, Simi, had reached out to him for features, but he turned down their request.

He said he declined to work with Simi in particular because she refused to “get intimate” with him.

Brymo wrote: “Though AG reached out later, I like to think that he didn’t check in again, by will or fate, because I turned down same request many years before. I also did same with Simi, said I wanted to get intimate to create intensity. I didn’t know they were together, of course.”
