First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu Commends Super Falcons

The First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria Senator Oluremi Tinubu CON has congratulated the Super falcons of Nigeria for qualifying for the knock out stage at the ongoing FIFA Women World Cup being co-hosted by Australia and New Zealand.

The team which played a goalless draw with the Ireland team this afternoon was cheered on throughout the match by the First Lady who was of the opinion that the Nigerian side was more disciplined and resilient.

Senator Oluremi Tinubu pointed out that though the team would be meeting with England on Monday 7th, they should not be daunted as they have the best wishes of not only herself and the President, but all Nigerians.

She assured of her best wishes for the team noting that she is with them in thoughts and prayers, routing for them to bring home the trophy as they all are playing as a team with the ‘can-do ‘spirit.
The Super Falcons finished as runners up in Group B coming after Australia.
