Nollywood actor, Lateef Adedimeji couldn’t hold back his tears at the screening of Jagun Jagun.
CityNews Nigeria reported last month that Femi Adebayo had unveiled his latest project, which is in collaboration with streaming service, Netflix.
The filmmaker held a screening on Wednesday night which had lots of celebrities in attendance.
Lateef, who was present at the event and is among the cast of the movie, while giving his speech, broke down in tears.
Expressing gratitude to Femi Adebayo, he revealed that he shot the film while in pain. According to him, he broke his leg during filming and almost gave up, but for Femi Adebayo’s constant encouragement.
He disclosed that he would tear up while on set and Femi would encourage him.
“I just want to say, thank you, sir. It was a tough one, from the first action, I broke my leg. So all through the filming, I was in pain and when they call action, I would start crying. And Femi Adebayo would encourage me saying, ‘I can do it’, and we did it”.
